The European Handball Federation confirmed the dates of the matches for the 2018. European Championship which will be held in Zagreb, Split, Varaždin and Poreč. 

Croatia plays all matches at 8:30 pm, and the European Championship opens on January 12th with a game against Serbia. The second match is scheduled on January 14. against Iceland, and the group ends on January 16. against Sweden.

Matches in group A, B and D will start at 18:15 and at 20:30, while only in group C there will be small changes. Group C matches, which is composed of Germany, Macedonia and Slovenia will start on January 13. at 5:15 pm and 7:30 pm. Other group matches are scheduled at 18:10 and 20:30 hours.

In the final stage of the competition, matches will be played at 18:15 and 20:30, and on January 24, the day when three games are played, the first match starts at 16:00 hours.

The match for the fifth place will be played on January 26th at 15:30, and the same day the semifinals will be scheduled at 18:30 and 20:30. The finals are scheduled for Sunday, January 28 at 20:30, while the match for the third place is at 18 o'clock.
