Zagreb - Croatian capital city is often called the city of museums, as there are more of them per square meter than any other place in the world, which does not mean there is nothing else for you to do.
You can, according to a local custom, have a coffee ("popiti kavu"), which translated from Croatian means: "sit and watch the world go by", as Miroslav Krleža, a famous Croatian writer used to do, or immerse in other rich contents this city offers to its visitors.
Zagreb is famous for its green areas. You will find charming parks in the city center and for those of you who are park lovers there is the Maksimir park, one of the biggest city parks in Eastern Europe. Recreation during the day, bars and clubs during the night - you will find this on the Jarun lake in the west part of Zagreb. Zagreb is also the only Capital city in the world hosting a ski worldcup race, taking place every January on the surrounding Medvednica mountain. Many people were surprised with the beauty and quite charm of Zagreb. It should be your time as well to discover Zagreb.
Youth Hostel Zagreb is nested in Petrinjska streed, located in downtown Zagreb, only a fey minutes from The Jelačić square, Zagreb's main square. It takes you even less to walk from the main train station to the youth hostel. The bus terminal is only some 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. This excellent location makes this hostel very convenient for individual travellers and for groups.
Zagreb Youth Hostel offers 210 beds.
