Youth Hostel Veli Losinj (Croatian Youth Hostel Association) has adopted a dolphin named Sonja from the group of good dolphins in The Cres-Lošinj archipelago.

Hostelling International announces ‘Best Hostels in the World’

The best hostels in the world are found in Thailand, Norway, Japan, USA, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
This was revealed this week when Hostelling International (HI) announced the winners of the “HI Best Hostel Awards 2009”. The awards are based on customer ratings made on hihostels.com.
The most prestigious award went to HI Baan Dinso in Bangkok.
